Massive and sprawling collection of mostly guitar-based (probably other sounds woven into these tracks) ambience and electronica. This huge release seems to have moved quite far away from his more beat-oriented past, but the end results are still, to me, highly enjoyable and reminiscent of the ambience and atmosphere that I've come to associate with this project. This is expressionism at its best. Your innermost memories of something comforting, which - perhaps - has never happened. That feeling never gets old and takes you a little bit deeper. Deliberately or not, Casino Versus Japan has always been a master at getting through to the listener. aspect_ratio_musicfan
